Dr. McVay serves as Lead Pastor of Heber Springs Baptist Church. He has been in pastoral ministry for over ten years and is deeply committed to preaching God’s Word faithfully and clearly. His passion is to see Christ made supreme in every life through expository, text-driven preaching and intentional discipleship.
Dr. McVay earned a Bachelor of Arts in Bible from Central Baptist College and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also completed a Doctor of Ministry in Text-Driven Preaching from Southwestern, equipping him to train believers to understand and apply Scripture with clarity and conviction.
Chris and his wife, MiRanda, have three children and are grateful to serve the Lord together at Heber Springs Baptist Church.
